Our Mission:
To support families in the Republic of Georgia affected by the August 2008 Russia-Georgia War by providing scholarships and other valuable educational opportunities to students and youth from the Gori Region.
GREF is legally-registered in the Republic of Georgia and manages the transfer of scholarship funds to Gori University. Therefore, GREF has set up a bank account with the Bank of Georgia in Tbilisi, Georgia. To receive donations from within the United States or other countries, GREF has established a partnership with "The Megobari Foundation" - a registered non-profit in the U.S.A - to receive donations.
Using a check: To make a donation to GREF you can write a check to "The Megobari Foundation." Checks must be made out to "The Megobari Foundation" with "GREF" written clearly on the notes line.
