Our Mission:
To support families in the Republic of Georgia affected by the August 2008 Russia-Georgia War by providing scholarships and other valuable educational opportunities to students and youth from the Gori Region.
About GREF
The Gori Regional Education Fund (GREF) is a registered NGO in the Republic of Georgia and a partnership between former US Peace Corps Volunteers and Gori University. GREF was established in August 2008 following the Russia-Georgia War to aid in the recovery of Gori and its surrounding villages. GREF raises money to provide scholarships for students attending Gori University, recruits and selects participating beneficiary students, and manages the transfer of funds from GREF to Gori University. Additionally, GREF designs and implements innovative educational programs.
